Thoughts on Spiders?

Anyone here like spiders or find them interesting? I find them very interesting. I think their webs are intriguing and beautiful. My kids hate all spiders. The only ones I avoid and try to keep out of my house are the poisonous ones. Some spiders are good for killing insects. Spiders are good for the ecosystem. In our part of Alabama, there is a species of spider that loves to build webs on porches and in the trees near the home. They are called orbweavers. Incidentally, there are more than 3,000 species of orbweavers and none of them are poisonous. I let them build webs around my porch. It will keep the insects under control. But I just enjoy watching them build their webs too. When my adult kids visit, they want to knock the webs down, but I won't let them.
What about you? What are your feelings about spiders?

I find them interesting but wouldn't love the sight of spiderweb in my house..I get a few harmless small spiders in my garden making webs. I don't bother them much.

@gnatsmom Outside should be okay unless you use it frequently as a sit out or party purpose. I have a gazebo in my terrace garden and that is a place for our sitting and get together events. They are not welcome there.

I’m petrified of them. One killed my friend and the other put a friend’s sister in the hospital for 3 weeks.
No way I can get close enough to decide if they are poisonous or not.
And one non poisonous little spider bit me and drew blood when I was 8 years old. It hurt!

I am scared of spiders. Not sure if they are poisonous. And I don't like to see spiderweb in my apartment.
