Everyone has an activity to do or enjoy on an everyday basis. It can be listening to music, watching movies, eating out, watching tv, cleaning the house, et.. In my case, I enjoy playing the guitar. I´ve been playing the guitar for more than 20 years. I can stop playing it if I have other activities to do. For example, working. As soon as I´m done with other activities, I always play the guitar Playing the guitar is my favorite hobby. What is yours?

hobby gundam biking cycling drawing writing
I've done some different hobbies as far as I can remember. There would be drawing, writing and so on. These days, I'm more on building things, specifically Gundam model kits. I like how you could just build something and the achievement it gives you once you're done and all. For outdoor activities, I like to bike with my MTB. I really like to try going through a trail, but similar to building model kits, I just don't find the time anymore to do any of them.

@quantum2020 Gundam kits come in scales. 1/144 would usually be High Grades or HGs, 1/100 would be Master Grades or MGs, while 1/60 would be Perfect Grades or PGs. But there are also Real Grades or RGs that are in 1/144 scale, yet have more detailed parts and pieces compared to HGs. Depending on the grade of the actual kit that you are building (in Gundam as far as I know) would be the level of detail that the kit would have, meaning more pieces for particular parts of the build. Say a High Grade (HG) of a Gundam head might have up to 6 pieces to build, while a Master Grade (MG) would have more than ten pieces to build its head. Some, especially the Perfect Grades (PG), have electronics in them, like for lighting up parts, but that's as much as I know.. I think they won't be electronic enough that you'd have a remote control to make it move about... then again, some builders could do that. For mountain bikes, you'd have to be also specific to what discipline you're going to ride in. There are XCs or Cross-Country Mountain bikes and then there are for Trails that have slacker angles compared to XCs. There are also Mountain bikes for aggressive downhill. I only prefer trails so I have my MTB for trails.. though I haven't really tried it on trails for the lack of time and opportunity.

@ratyz5 I think I would be interested in the Master Grades and Perfect Grades Gundam Models. They will make me be more creative. It´s amazing how manufacturers build bikes for all kinds of disciplines. I will be interested in trails too. It will allow me to ride through safer terrains

I´ve seen the Gundam model kits at stores but never tried them. Do you have to assemble them piece by piece? Are they electronic? Mountain biking is a great sport. I like mountain biking but never tried it. In my region, there are lots of natural places for mountain biking. I like the design of mountain bikes. The same here. I lack the time for MTB but could try the Gundam model kits one day

I'm glad you get a lot of enjoyment out of playing the guitar. I love to write and have been doing it most of my life. I have seven books published now and will have two more this year.

Congratulations. Writing is a very rewarding hobby. Writing your ideas and sharing them is a wonderful hobby. I like to read crime and detective novels. Those are my favorite genre of novels I obtained my first guitar at the age of 15; took a guitar lesson and have been practicing the guitar from time to time. In the present, I have an acoustic guitar and practice guitar for at least three of four times a week

@quantum2020 I agree. If you treat the maintaining the mental health as a hobby, you will willingly taking care of yourselves rather than making the maintaining mental health as a responsibility, because it won't feel as 'willing'. I mean, it's like forcing yourself to watch over mental health rather than making it as a hobby. Oh gosh, sorry. I'm bad in explaining

I love listening to music. I practiced dancing 10 or more years ago. It was a wonderful activity that puts the stress out of me. Whenever I´m online I listen to music.

You have 'cleaning the house' listed as an 'activity to do or **enjoy**'?? The mind boggles. :-)
