So I have always had a soft spot for science fictions shows/movies and books. I have watched Star Trek since I was an infant. Have watched all the Doctors on Doctor Who except the thirteenth, and even watched the horrible movie with the Eighth Doctor. So when I first found out about The Orville I was pretty excited about it. As an added bonus, it stars Seth McFarlane, which I have watched since he was on Gilmore Girls.
Anyhoo, we finally started watching it last night on Hulu and were pretty surprised with how good it is. I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect how good the production value is. It's a beautifully made show.
We just started the third episode but it is pretty good. Very Star Trek-y, but not quite. I expected it to be just a comedy show, and it is that but it has its serious moments as well.

The Orville and Doctor Who went to other stations that we do not get. I have watched Doctor Who since the beginning.

The Orville is on Hulu and Doctor Who will be available this year on Disney. Although it is available on Amazon Prime right now.
I stopped watching it when Capaldi was still doctor. When it was Capaldi and Bill.
