So I have always had a soft spot for science fictions shows/movies and books. I have watched Star Trek since I was an infant. Have watched all the Doctors on Doctor Who except the thirteenth, and even watched the horrible movie with the Eighth Doctor. So when I first found out about The Orville I was pretty excited about it. As an added bonus, it stars Seth McFarlane, which I have watched since he was on Gilmore Girls. Anyhoo, we finally started watching it last night on Hulu and were pretty surprised with how good it is. I don't know what I expected, but I didn't expect how good the production value is. It's a beautifully made show. We just started the third episode but it is pretty good. Very Star Trek-y, but not quite. I expected it to be just a comedy show, and it is that but it has its serious moments as well.
