Martini- shaken or stirred?

07 liked it one way in the books and the other in the films. What do you think is the best way to make a Martini?

Without glorify the cocktail would just like to add that its more of a womens drink (shaken or stirred). Men should rather have vodkatini ie substituting the gin with vokda.
Also would recommend to try martini on the rocks in a rock glass. Cheers !!!!!!!
