Looking for a Virtual Assistant job

Good morning from here from the Philippines. It's already Monday morning here at 8:18am. I don't if I can consider this as good morning from me. Today and tomorrow will be my rest days. Yesterday, I had a workshift. And not a good news for me and with my other teammates. We've been notified by our supervisor that our account is at risk in removing half of the customer service representatives next month. I don't know how it feels that I might be one of those half to be removed in the account and no assurance if I have another account to transfer. One of my co-workers mentioned that we need to look for a "Virtual Assistant" job. In reality, I don't know how it works with as a Virtual Assistant job although, I've already working in a business processing outsourcing via chat and emails for 3 years already. I tried to search in "Google" and here what I've found: A virtual assistant is a self-employed worker who specializes in offering administrative services to clients from a remote location, usually a home office. Typical tasks a virtual assistant might perform include scheduling appointments, making phone calls, making travel arrangements, and managing email accounts. Honestly, I wanted to work with this, however, I'm interested with this preparing myself to be part of the possible unemployed next month. I don't know if someone can tell me more here of being have a job of Virtual Assistant. Honestly, I don't how it works?
