do you watch cartoons?

I watch feature animated films, such as from Pixar or Disney feature animation. If something just happens to be on television as I'm flipping channels, like Scooby Doo or King of the Hill, thehn I may watch it a while. We don't get the cartoon network, though.

I love watching cartoons! I especially enjoy watching stuff like The Simpsons or Futurama but also Spongebob Squarepants. Animated movies like Ice Age are also great (generally films by pixar or disney).

if i'm actually watching tv and it's on the channel i like and it's one of the series i like then yes i watch it. though i don't usually watch tv. i do love disney movies though. now if only they brought back the classic cartoons that i loved it would be great.

I really love the work of Studio Ghibli! (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle) I think that animation has many real advantages over live performance, especially for telling stories. Live movies have a history of bringing in animated characters where a real person just won't do, (for example Gollum, in Lord of the Rings) and now that animation has become so sophisticated, the only limit is the storyteller's imagination. I should imagine it is a great time to be an animation student.
