Well. I guess I half did it. I swore last night we would be eating before eight pm. Which we did yesterday as well because she child was in bed at eight. BUUUUT, anyway. Tonight was kind of experiment in cooking. We had steak um type chopped steak from a Walmart order a couple weeks ago, we had crescent rolls and I ran to Piggly Wiggly to get shredded cheese. And we still have an abundance of eggs from the grocery order. So I cooked the steak on the stove, with seasonings, then rolled it up with three cheddar shredded cheese in the crescent rolls and baked them according to the directions. I also made some cheesey scrambled eggs. So I guess it was kind of a take on steak and eggs. The whole meal probably cost $10. And that fed all three of us! So I think I did pretty good budget wise.
