16 March - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's a very sad day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA as seen in the photo above. My snow is melting. It started raining about an hour ago. Otherwise, it's been a mostly good day.
I'm thankful for the amount of sleep I got and for getting up as early as I did so I could have my computer work done before I left for the hospital appointment this morning for my appointment with Endocrinology. I was up at 2:30 this morning after going to bed at 8:30 last night.
I'm thankful I got my Bible study, games, and notifications done before I left at 8:15 for a 9 AM appointment. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the hospital and I needed to be 15 minutes early. I was half an hour early. They also saw me early.
I'm thankful for my appointment even though the news wasn't the best. I have severe osteoporosis. They drew blood and scheduled me for a bone density test for tomorrow afternoon. Depending on the results, I could be on a once-a-day injection. Not thrilled about that as I hate needles of any kind and giving this to myself is not a good option.
I'm thankful for where I live. I received a text from the office last month that I overpaid my rent. I ignored it because I knew what my rent was. I got another text today telling me I again overpaid my rent. I called them and left a message that I hadn't overpaid. They said Housing sent out a new letter for January 1. My rent went down. I have been overpaying my rent. I now have a huge rent credit because I pay a month ahead of time. I won't need to pay my rent again until July and then it will be a small amount. God is GOOD!
I'm thankful for walking the building twice. I have all my steps and with the walking, I did at the hospital, I'm a thousand over at 9000+.
That has been my day. I wanted to work on Where Eagles Soar, but I'm going to finish the notifications for the second time today.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The photo belongs to me. Isn't it just the saddest thing you've seen? Yes, that's a flowerpot the snow uncovered on the deck beside the table.

I am thankful that a hospital in New Orleans is teaming up with my current health clinic in Lake Charles to take a study on medicines on dealing with my blood pressure and get paid via gift cards upon completion of the study after 42 months. I sent them an email today accepting the offer.
