I ruined my favourite pilot jacket,what a stupid mistake.

Today i did laundry at morning,later i regreted.because i found i ruined my favourite pilot jacket,I made a stupid mistake.When i manually washed the jacket,i didn't avoid black leather stripe,you can see part of black stripe became white in picture,how awkward.because i scratched the stripe while washing,or you can think the surface of stripe peeled off by itself in the case of soaking in the water.Anyway, I am sad my favourite jacket fell apart,i can't dress in it any more.
Now i learnt a lesson from this thing,when we wash clothes,have to be careful about some delicate parts,must gentle to wash some parts or avoid for sake of protection.Hello,mylotters,did you ever ruin clothes while washing?

Unfortunately,I have no idea to repair except disposal.I went to shop for a new replacement,but this pattern of jacket wasn't sold any more.

You are smart at washing,i remove the black stripe,then my jacket looks same like before,now i retrieved my favourite jacket,so happy about it.

I am so sorry to hear about your jacket. I know how frustrating that can be, because I once accidentally washed a wool jacket incorrectly, and it shrank to the size of doll clothes.

My wife also made same mistake with a wool clothes,so i fully understand Wool will shrink once it soaked in water.there are many tips in our life,we have to be careful sometimes.

I have ruined so many clothes but what i assure you is that it is not the end of the world. Everything is going to be okay.
