Arctic seal rescued off a village dock in New York

A male seal that came from the Arctic was seen in a boat ramp in Babylon New York on March which caused residents to call the Enviromental Conservation Police (ECP) to find out what a male seal who appeared to have suffered an injury Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) officials learning that seals can be stressed when people at look at them, they decided to set a perimeter of 150 feet around the boat launch to protect the seal from being bothered by bystanders. On March 3, the officials of the DEC took the seal away from the village dock to a rehabilitation center in Riverhead New York to be treated for dehydration where the seal will be taken care of until the seal who was formerly named "Sealia" by the residents in Babylon is now being called "Rolo" will be released into the wild at a future date that will be announced at a future date.
