Hi , today our family members decided to have just a simple meal before going to bed. after having a tiresome day we all concluded to have just some fried rice and well cooked green grams and salad. This sounds simple but very delicious when my mother cooks it. we did expect some friends to join us but they have not arrived so i guess we will start without them I hope you had a wonderful day what have you taken for dinner?

Don't drink coffee, but as a treat I buy my husband latte coffees that you put in a cup and add water to, he always takes a packet to work to drink with his sandwiches in the middle of the night as a night shift worker

@thebos It is soaked over night and cooked adding jaggery, coconut and cardamom powder We have other things too - tea and fruits.

@thebos Think I may buy some pork chops for next week when I go and do the food shopping at end of the week. I will just cook them in the oven, maybe with some onions
