Yay to my husbands, he got a phone call today by HR because the manger had called my husband on Friday although his phone doesn't show a missed call or message left on Friday. Anyways HR called and wanted to know if he was interested in the job that he was interviewed for twice. The manger was really excited and had called HR to see if he had called back in over the weekend or today. They are offering him a starting at $24.50/hr as a CMA which is just shy of $51k/yr. Not sure how many hours he'll be working he didn't saw, or they didn't say yet. He starts April 10th which is great. Back to him doing nursing work.

CMA is very much medical it's a type of nurse spot. RNs are those with licenses, but CMAs are one step down from an RN they don't have their license they have a certification that what the C is for in CMA the m is for Medical, and the A is for assistance. RN is for Register Nure same as NA is another one which is Nurse Assistance. PN is Predicational Nurse. He's a nurse just not with the fancy title he kind of stumbled into from being a register. The person that takes your insurance information in the ER.

@RebeccasFarm yes and no. It depends on what they are looking for and wanting. CMA's don't make as much as RN. I don't know what the official position was for but they were taking CMA's. As long as he doesn't have to do injections then he is good. He can with his CMA do injections but since his electrocution its harder for him to do it correctly on a person since his fine motor skills are not back to what it was.

Crossing fingers for you. For him this is great because he didn't think he would be able to go back to nursing.

That's more then he is making in his current job. He makes $20 something and hour or maybe $22 hour. So this move is a good one for him.
