Never thought about it before

Recently after watching the news about the illegal drug problem with the rise of Fentanyl and it being smuggled over the Southern Border, I started thinking, once the authorities seize all the drugs in drug raids, how do they properly dispose of it all? It has to be destroyed properly to protect the environment.

Well, depending on the place, they hold it for a long time, until they don't need it for edvience. From that point, I couldn't tell you. What you should do, and what actually happens, are two different things. Most people will take the half-baked approach and do the bare bones required to protect their health and safety. screw the impact on the planet, itself.

Some of them might be sent to some labs or for scientific research.
Some could be mixed with soil and buried underneath may be and others burned.
