Team members with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) located in New Orleans Louisiana were called from a member of the motor vessel Solitaire reported that a crew member was suffering from a seizure aboard the vessel on Tuesday evening near Port Fourchon. The UCSG team members sent a helicopter to rescue the sick crew member who was inside the vessel by using a litter-augmented hoist the sick crew member to University Hospital located in New Orleans. The name of the crew member who was not released is in stable condition at last report. The USCG will just say that they were just doing their duty to save lives after the latest rescue of the stricken man in Port Fourchon. Link is katc.com/news/covering-...

@rakski I am in agreement with you since even the coast guard employees want to save everyone that needs their help and not lose a person that they are assigned to rescue.

It is very scary to have a seizure and to have it aboard a ship even more so. I am very glad to read the man was rescued by his caring crew members. And the UCSG!!
