Need To Do That On A Federal Level

That is a good start. Minnesota is trying to pass a bill that will ban corporations from buying neighborhoods. It is called gentrification. More or less buying up every house that is on the market and then renting them out, while jacking up the renting prices. Like many are saying, its good start. It is so standard now, What is going to stop every Jack, Tom and Mary, the independent landlord from jacking up renting prices? Tiny homes are not even that affordable anymore to buy or rent thanks to the corporate monopolies. I still say they broke capitalism and all the laws we are passing now is just prolonging the inevitable. The sad thing is I think in 100 or 200 years, people will talk about capitalism the way most talk about socialism now. If you think capitalism is so great, stop abusing it.

I get calls all the time from people wanting to buy my house, and it's not on the market. Half the time, they want to know if I'm interested in selling my property that's in another city. I don't own property anywhere else.

My house is ghetto and neighborhood is kind of ghetto. Not as bad as ours haha. Anyway. Had signs we will buy for double what your house is worth. That's great bud and where we going to go when shacks cost 600, 000 and you paying us 500,000 thousand. Sounds like a lot. It is not here. I get maybe could move to Arkansas or something and get a great house but we like it here. Where we at, and not sure why, mostly drought stricken land that you cannot make thrive other than houses. Place does have good scenery not many places get, but still,]makes you go, if capitalism is so efficient?? They would smell that out in a heartbeat, wouldn't they?

@DWDavis Its not actually bad that whole area is shot up, but long run like generations like Yellowstone does the show, nah, but guess depends what you are trying to do. Most out here just trying to survive, not much in the way of legacies out in this area.

@crossbones27 My oldest son just bought a house in California, down in the Antelope Valley near Lancaster. He got a good deal on it because the older couple was in a hurry to sell and move to Florida. I wonder if they're still happy about that.

I say it a bit differently because not everyone makes money all the time so the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor and might not even have the opportunity to make the money they need,

Perfectly good point and it is a bit different for everyone. According to Elon Musk everyone is poor because they do not work 18 hours a day and sleep in their office like him. He does not either, but makes his workers. Even if you employed that strategy, its the same difference. Money rules the world and if everyone worked those hours, it would just increase to 23 hours and 1 hour of sleep because want to be more competitive than the next. At that point a smart person says, this is insane I am going to sleep 8 hours and go back to at least 8 hours a day of work 5 days a week because I have brains. Those fools that work that long are insane because they have no sleep and all stressed out. You can look to pro sports as giving a guy a day off because it helps them get their brains back so they can go forward with the long hall. Even Military, they preach work hard ,play hard and they make sure people get time off so they can handle the stress of their job. Not sure what the hell corporate world is doing but it makes no sense other than they straight greedy.

The old story of the rich get richer and the poor gets poorer will continue on.

Indeed, but at least we get to see someone try to correct it every now and then. You know that bill is not going to pass. If it does I will be amazed. One day, its all going to fall a part if we keep on this path though.
