Sunni Skies, my Head Weather Girl and Chief Executive Vice President In Charge Of Meteorological Affairs, is full of the April Fool's Day Spirit. And many other things. Yesterday, which was April Fool's Day Eve in most of these timelines, had a great start. Sunni did really well with it. It was calm, 72 degrees (22.2222222C) and cloudy. Then, the late afternoon came and brought with it falling temps, high winds, thunder, lightning and enough rain to choke a horse (PETA, relax! That's just an expression. No actual horses were harmed in the production of this Blog Post). We even had a Tornado Warning for about an hour. And the usual Internet Outages caused by the rain. I don't have to tell you, my 226.4 Billion Loyal Dedicated Daily Readers, that I love storms. But I will, anyway, because many of you really enjoy exercising your legal right to smoke marijuana and engaging in other short-term memory-hindering activities. Like getting older. So, I love storms. But there is a point of Diminishing Returns. And Sunni crossed that line yesterday. But that's nothing compared to what she's doing today. Right now, its 36F (2.22222222C) and there's enough wind to choke a whole herd of horses that are totally not being choked. So, it's April now and Sunni is making it feel like January. #HappyAprilFool'sDay

I love April Fools Day, and I'm quite the prankster. But my girlfriend and kids wised up this year, and all headed out of town for the weekend to avoid any gags I had planned for them. They were smart to do so. But now I'm home by myself with no one to prank, and being on crutches with a broken foot, it's not like I can just run around town and play jokes on people. So everyone gets a free pass this year. Unless, of course, I can come up with something epic to hit them with when they all get back into town tomorrow. But it really won't be the same playing a prank on them on April 2nd versus April 1st. Oh well.

Don't forget that April Fool's Day is a place in the heart. Not a date on the calendar.

I was born in April so I claim a right to pull pranks all month long. Beware of the whoopie cushion.

@xander6464 — oh yes. Chocolate pudding-filled cushions are the platinum standard.

@FourWalls You don't want to be wearing white pants when they're unleashed.
