I'm tired of all those spam calls!

I was sitting here, at my computer, when I got a call. These people wanted to send me another COVID test kit. I have never used any of the ones I've gotten previously, why do I need yet another one? I let her ramble to the point where she wanted my Medicare number than refused to roll the five or six feet to my purse to get my card out. She pushed and I kept saying "No" until I finally said "Goodbye" and hung up on her. I got to waste a pretty solid three minutes of her time, so... you're welcome...

I often do that. Especially when they want to tell me about something else I could get with my Medicare... I tell them that all my insurance is through the State (of Texas) and they needed to talk to them.

I just say "I don't need {whatever} and disconnect. Did just that this morning to someone who wanted to sell me life insurance.

Normally I do, but I wasn't doing anything and I figured if I could keep her on the phone for a few minutes, that was at least one other person she couldn't call. Not as good as my interaction last year, but...
