Day 268 (Proverbs 2:10-22) When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things, from those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness; who rejoice in doing evil, and delight in the perversity of the wicked; whose ways are crooked, and who are devious in their paths; to deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God. For her house leads down to death and her path to the dead. None who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life- so you may walk in the way of goodness and keep to the paths of righteousness. For the upright will dwell in the land, and the blameless will remain in it, but the wicked will be cut off from the earth, and the unfaithful will be uprooted from it. When you look at the world around you, you wonder if everyone lost their common sense. News stories are full of every kind of evil. People rejoice in being evil more than in being good. Solomon told the people what would happen to those who displayed wisdom in everything they did. Knowledge would be pleasant to their soul, discretion would preserve them, and understanding would keep and deliver them from evil. But those who rejoiced in evil would find themselves on the path of destruction. Many Christians shake their heads at what they see and hear on the news and among their friends and acquaintances. Christians have become complacent, numbed by the evil taking place in the world. Only a handful of Christians take a stand and speak up about what they see and hear while evil runs rampant in the streets. You are not supposed to rejoice in evil but rejoice in what is good. You are to use discretion and wisdom in everything you do. Only then will you know the path of righteousness God provides for everyone who does His will. Let’s pray: Father, help me use wisdom in everything I do and not rejoice at the evil taking place in the world. Let me stand up for what is right so that I will always be on the path of righteousness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 8 April 2023 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

Everyday i see the evil prevails the good, but i can't do anything.Because they have nuke bombs and millions of troops.I'm just an ant and slave to them. Now the only thing i can do is pray to God,i hope he can punish those evil people, especially Communist Members. They built the hell on my country and enjoy the heavenly life.None of them got punished.I really feel unfair. But i believe one day God will let them pay for what they did,and the blood debt they owe to the Chinese people will be repaid. I just wish i can see that day when i'm still alive.Seeing the Judgement of God falling down in China,Seeing the freedom and democracy finally save my country.
