Philippines
April 15, 2023 3:22am CST
Are you guys following starship first orbital launch? If I'm not mistaken they will launch it this month. April 17. That will be April 18 here in my country Philippines. correct me if I'm wrong with the launch date. For those who are not aware. Starship is the rocket by SpaceX will be use to land and visit the moon again. And the same rocket model (not the same version) to land and first visit the planet Mars. Are you guys excited?

The date in the Philippines will depend on the time of launch here. Right now it is 6 AM April 15 here and 7 PM April 15 in the Philippines. So any time before 11 AM central time in the USA will be the same date in the Philippines. If they launch later, it will be the next day in the Philippines.

I think it will be a long long time before they get it to Mars.

Yes, between 5 to 10 years from now. But the history says Elon is unpredictable. Maybe he can do it in 3 to 4 years only who knows.

@solidcodes 25 to 50 years is more realistic 50 more likely. That's because we haven't progressed much more than we had in 69 when we went to the moon
