Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too.
Today, 25th April is celebrated as "World Malaria Day". Malaria is a serious disease that is spread by the bite of an infected mosquito. It can make person feel feverish and chills. Many times, if not treated promptly it results into death too.
More than 200 million people contract malaria every year out of which 1/2 million people die every year.
World Malaria Day was started in order to raise awareness about the disease, what precautions to take and some activities carried out by corporates in order to curb this disease.
It was established in 2007 by the World Health Assembly which is part of WTO.
I feel one needs to be careful of this disease. Malaria generally starts in Monsoon Season. Hence have to be more careful during Monsoons. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!
