Stop Food Waste Day is celebrated today! It should be implemented every day!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. I came across this information so thought to share it here. There is Stop Food Waste Day celebrated every year since 2017. It came into existence by Compass Group, one of the world's largest food service companies serving restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools and more. This day aims to educate people about their food waste and create impactful solutions for how to give away food to the needy instead of wasting it. Food Waste has become a severe epidemic across the world due to the lack of understanding of how to effectively use food and conserve it. Almost 1/3 of the food produced globally is either lost or wasted every year. I feel it's so bad as on one hand there is ample good and on other hand there are some people who finds food from trash cans. I strongly feel and believe that if we start at own level to stop food wastage instead give it to needy then food wasteage gets eliminated and noone stays hungry. Let me know your thoughts about it.
