Being OIC

After such a long time, I was assigned today as OIC in our English Section because our Head Instructor was sick. Actually I felt bad about this because for a long time I should have been supposedly in this position because if we are to talk about qualifications I am the most and only qualified amongst my colleague in the English Section. However, this doesn't seem to be the case in my school. People get promoted when become remiss about their job. There were many cases they don't respect hierarchy and qualifications. I don't really know how they put associates in a particular position. In my department, I almost did everything to make it better but obviously I not being recognized. I have been in charge of the curriculum development, the backbone of running every semester. But anyway, I put everything in the hands of God. Only God knows. Anyways, bypassing is really common in my company and I can't help it.
