While you may hear more hip hop songs to basketball than street punk songs. The street punk songs are here Too. Its just none of them were athletic enough but was a thing in 90's as most things were. Pick up games were an adventure and you could not be mad at no one. It was fun and made you smile. Everyone was on a equal level. till they were not. That being said things stayed where it was good at punk rockers not good at basketball. Hip hop artist better, but you could then write better music which not many did because step in the door. Hip hop, pop, true rock, metal all over punk. Thats OK punk has a song and its finished. Still not being played right but will it ever. Life is a series of what you liked best. Not a series of what is fair. If I am saying that as a Laker Fan, people may want to reevaluate, or not. I just think interesting perspective. Go Lakers
