Heyyy. I'm listening to a little NKOTB while I type this out, but once this is posted, I'm turning the music off. But hey, a little music is always a great start to accomplishing my to-do list lol. I've enrolled in HubSpot Academy's free online courses for those who do online marketing, writing, etc. Obviously, I'm taking courses that can benefit me as a freelance writer. I wanted to start about two months ago, but I wasn't in the right headspace to do so. Buttttttttt, I'm in the right headspace now. So, if you want more information, you'll have to look it up, but here's the gist of SEO - Search Engine Optimization - which I'm copying and pasting from Google. "Search engine optimization is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO targets unpaid traffic rather than direct traffic or paid traffic." It's something a lot of writers and clients alike utilize. My Dad introduced me to SEO a long time ago. Now, I'm working to get certified in it. There are actually two SEO certifications, but obviously, I'm starting with the first one lol. I did a little research, and HubSpot Academy is highly regarded. The courses are free, and I think the certification will look good on my writing profiles. :) I can take the courses at my own pace, but I do have to take the quiz in one sitting. My goal is to take the quiz by the end of June (if not before), and then move on to SEO II. Today, I'm just taking the first lesson, which contains several short videos (hence why I need to turn the music off in a few minutes). And yes, I'm taking notes in my handy dandy notebook lol. I'll have to get re-certified in 1-2 years, but it's fine. All I have to do is re-take the courses; it's not the end of the world lol. (Eventually, I want to take their courses in copywriting and email marketing as well.) Anyway, it's time to get started on my courses! Take care, everyone. Photo Credit: Pixabay.

That's great! Perhaps, you can practice on my site because I don't have the money to enlist the services of an SEO expert. However, those are interesting things to learn and they are offered for free. I think I should look into it as well. Thank you for the information, Good luck with your courses and wishing you the best.

@Jenaisle No problem! I can message you the link if you want, unless it's okay to post it here. It's free, but I want to ensure I don't break any rules.
