I don't understand the trend of Piercing! / myLot

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. There are certain things which I don't understand how people do it by giving pain to their bodies. Piercing has become a trend and there are lot of people getting themselves pierced in different parts of the body. I don't understand the fascination behind it. However, I don't judge as it's an individual's choice. I would never like to do it as I don't like to give pain to my body. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Take care.

I have not even pierced my ears. I have a friend that put an earring in her tongue. The tongue will not grew back. That hole will always be there if you take the ear ring out.

I have my ears pierced, one hole in each ear, and that’s enough for me. I don’t really understand the lip, nose, or eyebrow piercings, but it’s not like they bother me. Actually, when someone has the side of their nostril pierced I don’t think much of it. But when they get the cartilage in the middle of their nose, where their nostrils are separated, I think they look like oxen. I just automatically think of those working oxen with a huge ring in the nose, and I can’t help it. That’s probably the only piercing I look twice at.
