Mothers are a special kind of human being. Not only do they nurture and raise us from children into adults, but they are also there for us when times get tough. For mothers around the world, the love and care they provide is endless – it's no wonder that we take each year to dedicate a special day to them; it's the least we can do! However, with Mother's Day coming and going in the blink of an eye, it often feels like not enough. Mother's Day isn't just a one-day affair, it's a year-round celebration. Whether it's by providing a shoulder to cry on or being a source of strength and comfort, mothers play an important role in our lives. So how can we honor them on the other 364 days of the year? Here are some suggestions: 1. Make sure you tell her you love her. This may seem simple, but hearing those three magical words from her child is one of the most important things a mother can receive. Choose a particular time each day to make sure you tell your mom just how much you love her - it'll make her feel so special! 2. Show your mom that you're thinking of her. Whether it's picking up her favorite flowers on the way home from work, bringing her coffee on a Saturday morning, or writing a heartfelt letter, make sure you show your mother that she's always on your mind. 3. Give your mom the gift of quality time. In an age where everyone is busy, it can be hard to find time to connect. Set aside a particular day each week (or even every other week) where you can just spend some quality time with your mom. Take her out to dinner, for a walk, or to the movies. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant, just make sure you dedicate some time to talk and catch up. 4. Celebrate all the big and small moments. Birthdays, holidays, anniversaries... these milestones are a great opportunity to honor your mom. But don't forget about the smaller moments too! Whether it's a job promotion, a new hobby, or a surprise success, always remember to take a moment to celebrate your mother's achievements. 5. Spend extra time helping her out. When it comes to thanking your mom, one of the best things you can do is give her a helping hand. Whether it's grocery shopping, cleaning up around the house, or even taking on some of her responsibilities, your mother will be incredibly touched by your thoughtfulness. These are all based from my personal experience when my mom was still living. She died of cancer in her pelvic area. Some tips may be applicable to you all but it is up to you. By dedicating some time to celebrating your mom all year long, you can make sure that she knows just how much you appreciate her. So take the time to show your mom just how much she means to you, and how grateful you are for all that she does! Are you ready to make this year all about your mother? How do you feel about making every day a special Mother's Day celebration for her?

My mother isn't here to celebrate. She passed away several years ago
