First GT restricts CSK to 172 runs in 20 overs.
However, Deepak Chahar, Ravindra Jadeja, Deshpande and a great captaincy by Dhoni led to the CSK winning by 15 runs.
GT have another chance on Friday when they would face the winner of the Eliminator match between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).
