National Escargot Day! A French Delicacy!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. I came to know today about this unique dish so thought to share it here. Escargot is French translation given to "Edible Snails". It is believed that Snails were the first animals to be farmed by man. This is a French dish which is served by grilling them. A filling of Garlic Butter is smothered into them. Snails have excellent form of protein, low in fat, tasty and pretty easy to catch them. People in France eat this dish and it has got popular in other countries as well. These are served with metal pick that is used to hook the meat out with and into the mouth. I won't like to try this as I don't eat nonveg much. Have you guys tried it ? Or willing to try?
