Woke up to Sweet Painted Lady

So this morning my alarm went off and I went to drag my behind out of bed to get ready for work. I don't know why but it seems like even before I opened my eyes I could hear the lyrics from Elton Johns song Sweet Painted Lady. It wasn't the whole song, just the choirs (I think that's what it's called).
Anyway I went about my usual routine and it just wouldn't go away. Every time I paused, there it was.
I guess I should be happy that of all the things that I could have waken up to, it was a classic Elton John song.

A different time. When I got that album I was young and completely naive….I had NO idea what this song was about. My brother was in the Navy, and I thought it was about sailors!

@FourWalls - Oh yes, definitely a different time. So many memories of a more carefree time in my life. But we all have to grow up sometime..... MAYBE.

@RebeccasFarm - It wasn't playing so to speak, it was just playing in my head.
But I really enjoy live music and go to concerts every chance I get.
