I'm Going Through Estate Sale Withdrawal

Two weeks ago I went to two different estate sales in my community. I have been doing better buying things to sell on Bay at estate sales rather than at thrift stores so I have been saving up my money and waiting until I find a good estate sale to go to. Some weeks there is nothing worth going to within 30 miles, which is my limit.
The weekend before last though there were two estate sales within 3 minutes of my house! I had so much fun hunting through other people's junk. And I got some really good deals. Most to sell on eBay. So far I have sold 5 balls of new Mohair yarn for $19.95 and I paid $2.00 for them, and a vintage Singer kit of knitting needles that I paid $1.50 for and sold for $16.95. I have lots more things listed from both estate sales, so it will be fun to see what sells and how much money I can make on them.
The one thing that makes me sad when I go to estate sales is if the person died and the family is selling off all of their items. I don't always know what the situation is, but sometimes other customers will talk while they are shopping and I hear what the story is behind the sale.
So since I haven't been able to go to an estate sale in 2 weeks, I am going through a sort of withdrawal. In fact this past Saturday I was remembering how much fun I had the week before at the estate sales! Does this ever happen to you, regarding estate sales, auctions, flea markets, yard sales, etc.?

@Kouponkaren I didn't go. That day we went to a Renaissance Festival. I have to keep my eyes peeled for another one to got to. Most of the stuff she had in the picture I wasn't really interested in anyway.

Ha ha, that's a pretty safe prediction. I saw a few recently that had a small number of items I was interested in, but not enough to drive all the way there and see if I really wanted the items. Sometimes these sales are very overpriced, but you can't tell until you get there. They put photos of the items online, but they don't tell you the price. I guess they just try to lure people to the sale with the photos.

Yes it does. I go to the livestock auction more in the winter than the summer just to be going

Well, thank you but I haven't found any worth the gas money yet. I am sure I will find some more over the summer though.
