Unless any miracles happens India will lose against Australia.

India is playing Australia in the finals of test cricket in Oval, England. Australia in the 2nd innings has 296 runs lead with Labuchane still there at 40. Unless any miracle happens most probable chances are the losing of India because if Australia scores another 75 runs, chasing a target more than 360 in an English pitch is uphill task. The Indian captain Rohit Sharma now does not have the backing of pumped in money of Ambanis as this is not IPL. As a captain he scores only 15 runs. Regarding decisions it is ridiculous to have Umesh Yadav as bowler and dropping Ashwin.

By allowing Aussies to score 400 plus in the first innings and then losing 4 quick wickets, India let the Aussies gain a lot of ground.
Rahane, Shardul Thakur and Jadeja did made good scores but still the gap is a lot.
Ashwin's dropping did affect India.
He can bat good as well.

K.S.Bharat was probably chosen because of his wicketkeeping skills.
I think Ashwin should however had been chosen but now a lot depends upon how Kohli and Rahane negotiate the 5th day morning bowling.

Now the match is gone!
Below par performance by the Indian team.
Losing by 209 runs indicate how much the Aussies dominated.
Not playing Ashwin did influence the result but so did the fact that top order did not stay at the crease as much as they should have.

well , he isn't the only one making the player selections , coaches , team management etc are involved too . Ashwin and Axar should have been playing .
And , not just rohit , but the entire line-up failed , the only ones who were fighting back were Rahane , Jadeja and Shardul

thanks Kitycat
you will later realize that Rohit Sharma is a good for nothing. May be selectors and coaches are equally hopeless. But other players can contribute. Shiraj with the ball, Jadeja with ball and bat, but Rohit is only there to create politics

Coming off IPL you were never going to win this

Apart from that, the Indian team could not match the Aussies in temperament or strategy.
Plus players with great test records like Kohli, Rahane and Pujara couldn't play long enough to make things count.
