I love how my husband assumes that our son's fever had broken yesterday because he has a normal temp for a few hours. Every time he says it broken you know what happens when I go and check?
Ah yes, the fever of our 8-year-old has returned. I swear if this man says one more time today, I might just smack him for jinxing us. You'd think a nurse would know not to say things that jinx but of course I think is dad brain and nurse brain are short circuit right now and need a reboot.

You think its funny till it annoys you. Yes Dad nurse husband that is his title because he is a nurse.

@RebeccasFarm some people wouldn't see him as a nurse since he doesn't have his RN.

Hopefully, your husband will learn to keep his "fever has broken" comments to himself and spare you from the jinx. Parenthood and nursing can definitely make for some interesting brain circuits, but I'm sure he'll figure it out soon enough. Hang in there!

lol he probably won't it doesn't matter if he does or doesn't. Lol he's been a parent for 12 years and a nurse for 6 years so I don't think they will ever be on the same page. It just how it goes when medical people have family members that are sick they know it all.
