Good Monday to you all. K and I are here in Fries, VA, at the Fries New River Trail RV Park, and we'll be here until Sunday. We arrived yesterday evening after a nearly 5-hour trek, the last 90 minutes of which were spent driving through heavy fog in the mountains and then on winding, hilly country roads until we reached the campground. It is a small campground. Quaint. Nestled alongside a stream that runs into the New River. The river runs past about a quarter of a mile from here. We were able to cook turkey burgers on the grill. It didn't start to rain until the wee hours of the morning. This morning, I made breakfast inside - bacon, egg, and cheese sammies on English muffins. K is working remotely this morning. So am I, in a manner of speaking. I created the montage with pictures I took shortly after we got set up last evening. I'll post more as we get going out and about. How is your week going so far?
