I'm official!

This morning before going to the daycare, I had an appointment at a building in the front to get my "official" Coast Guard ID.
My appointment wasn't until 8 a.m., when the building opened, so I had to wait a bit before going in.
To my surprise, the whole thing took about ten minutes with showing my regular ID and SS card, getting a couple of fingerprints read, and getting my photo taken.
Now I can get on the base myself without having to call my boss to vouch for me or something like that.
