On Wednesday we went to the big Tesco again. It was very hot, so I didn't wear a coat. When we got there the first thing I did was go to the post box that is situated in the foyer to post 3 letters. Then I went and put the soft recycle in the recycle receptacle. Then I waited for my Mum to come with a trolley and then we went up on the lift. First we got some flowers, then I went to look at the magazines, but I didn't buy anything. Then I got some seaweed thins, a bottle of water and 2 x prawn layered salads. After that we got some non-alcoholic wine for Father's day. Then i went and got some pads for my Mum. Next we went to the fruit and veg section and I got some pomegranate seeds, and told my Mum to remind me to eat them before they go mouldy! We got some strawberries, and I got some blueberries, spring onions and a lemon. My step-dad wanted a white onion so we got one of those for him. Then we got the yoghurts, milk and puddings for Sunday, then we headed to the ready meal section where I got some scrambled tofu, chick'n'less bites and two ready meals for Thursday. Mum got her own ready meals. After that we got some vinegar and seafood sauce, and then we went to the canned section for some sardines. Then it was off to the cakes section where Mum got some cream horns or something and I got some of my mini vegan cakes. Mum also got some ginger cake. Next I went and got some pringles. Mum wanted something other than salt and vinegar flavour for a change so I got BBQ flavour. Mum didn't want any other crisps because we still had a big bag in the cupboard. Then we got some honey roasted peanuts, and we looked for some Typhoo T-bags but they were still not in stock! So then we went to look for some sugar puffs but they hadn't got any of them either. Ofcause they aren't called sugar puffs any more, they're called wheat puffs or something because the name sugar puffs sounds too tempting for kids or something. But I haven't seen any in ages come to think of it. Have they stopped making them? After that we went off to the frozen section where I got some peas for my Mum because I knew she was getting low in them. Then we found some vegan magnum ice screams. Then Mum got some chips and I got some prawn toasties for Sunday because the cauliflower bites were still out of stock! While Mum was still looking at the frozen stuff I went and got some laundry products. Some comfort conditioner and some Tesco washing stuff for delicates. Now it was time to go to the till. Mum gave me £200 but it on!y came to just over £85 so she had plenty of change and she was happy with that! It was now only 4:00pm and we'd told my step-dad to fetch us at 4:30pm, so we had plenty of time to waste. I drank some of my water and went and swapped my book at the Tesco book swap. My Mum said we could have gone and got something for my step-dad for Father's day. At about 4:25pm we made our way down in the lift. My step-dad wasn't there yet, so we sat on a bench in the undercover car park. It wasn't long before he came and we put the groceries in the boot and went home. When we got home me and my Mum put the groceries away, then I had my dinner. After dinner I went to put the recycle out and while I was out there I heard someone say, "Hello sweetheart, is Sharon in?" I went to see who it was and it was my friend Yasmin! I said, "I'm putting the recycle out!" We had a hug and I said, "I'll be round in a minute!" So I went back in through the back door, locked it up and met Yasmin back in the living room. I put the recycle bag back in the kitchen and then me and Yaz had another hug. She had come round to see me and bring me a bag of stuff she said I could have. I offered her a drink and she had a small glass of Ribena while I had a pint glass full! We sat and had a bit of a chat. She said she'd rather go to the art class in the summer because she doesn't like driving in the dark or in bad weather and I don't blame her! I feel the same way. I told Yasmin I prefer the summer too, so we'll be going to next years summer one instead of September. Eventually Yasmin said she had to go, she had to get her husband John his dinner! So we went out the door and we were talking for another 10 minutes on the doorstep! She got married to John when she was 58! I said, "Well, there's hope for me yet then!" She did eventually go, and I waved her off. When Yasmin had gone I finished off putting the recycle out. I hadn't done the paper recycle yet. My Mum didn't think there'd be a house group for a while because the lady who runs the house group's Mum died this week. But then Mum had a phone call from her telling her that Dawn was coming to pick her up! So she went off to the house group and while she was out I put the new flowers out and then took the old flowers and offcuts to the garden waste bin out front because my step-dad had already put it out front ready for the bin collection the following day. What have you been getting up to? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Yes, it was very sad. Her Mum was very old and she had dementia. Thank you very much.
