Went for a walk, took something to the mailbox, folded and put away laundry, watered the plants, and picked up and threw away some things around the apartment. It's not quite lunch time, so after I post this I should return a comment or two or three. The weather out is weird--the sun is out but there's a bit of a cold wind. I thought it was supposed to be June? I was thinking of taking a walk to the pool, but now I don't know. I hope that everything is going well with you in your part of myLot land!

I did a bit of gardening but seemed to run out of steam and couldn't be arsed to do anything. Had a nap and now I'm at least here.

I am enjoying my Juneteenth holiday working on sharing good news stories on this site as well as working on surveys under a hot day outside.

Down south of you we have the cold wind too. Usually by now we are getting warmer and warmer...well let's just call it HOT! I'm a bit stuffed up from the dust and left over pollen blowing down from the trees. But I can live with that. I took my asthma medication and I'm able to breathe a bit better. I am busily sorting through stuff to donate to the thrift shop. I am so tired of the pile up of stuff. I have been looking for a book on crocheting mini animals. I looked all over the place last night and continued the search this morning. I found the darned book a little while ago. I had looked at it last night and it didn't register as the book I was looking for, so I kept on looking. I about kicked myself to kingdom come when I looked at it again and it registered as the book I was looking for. DUH It has motivated me even more to get serious about the sorting and elimination of the stuff I really don't need. But first I need to do two things. First is to fix something for lunch and second is to ace wrap my left ankle so it doesn't ache like crazy. Then I'll worry about the rest of the chores I have planned for the day. Have a great day, be thankful for the cooler temperatures. Remember that somewhere along the line it's going to get HOT and we will wish for cooler weather. We're being typical Californians, when it's cold we want it warmer and when it's hot we want it cooler. Otherwise have a great day, and be thankful you don't have Freya the bathmat terminator. She got the one down from the pile of stuff destined for the thrift shop (the bathmat isn't going) and she did some more killing on it.
