Today I had posto bora and rice.

Today in the lunch I had posto bora and rice. it is fried poppy seeds. Poppy seeds are called posto in Bengali. the good thing is it also makes people sleepy. It is grinded in mixture or a paste is made by using sil nora. the taste is awesome.

Is it only fried poppy seeds ( the paste ) or any vegetable added

thanks Prashu. you are correct. I had posto bora today. But bengalies cook potol posto, with parval, jhinge posto with turai, aloo posto with potato

@prashu228 thanks Prashu bora is a fried material in bengali. It is like a chop. For example in trains you get vegetable cutlet. the bora is like the cutlet.
