When Jay Returned Home Last Night

Jay went to mow lawn for Larry and Jan, our friends. When Jay got home, he brought with him some bad news, about Jan's condition.
She had to be placed in a special facility, after suffering a stoke. We didn't know that Jan is no longer able to live at home. This stoke has left her paralyzed on one side.
Mentally, she knows people and realizes what is happening. This is one good thing, a positive outcome from this critical issue. We will be visiting Jan often, to give her words of encouragement.
When our friend Marilyn had three strokes, she was able to remain at home, with her husband, Paul. What a God given blessing!
This is an eye opener! Getting older can throw us some very serious problems, in many cases. We are not above a long list of physical problems, that could threaten our lives!

@BabeSays I don't know if Jan will ever get better. With paralysis, this never comes back.

Jan is in a nursing home, she had a stroke that left her paralyzed.

I know a few people who had a stroke. Strokes is not a good thing.

When a stoke happens, the patient is forewarned that another stoke is a strong possibility.
