In India Myanmar hills the forests are adjacent to the tea gardens.

In the hills above 7000 feet there are forests in Indian Myanmar border. At the same time on side there are dense forests. On the other side there are tea gardens. The two types of vegetation are totally different. Yet they survive at high altitude. It is amazing.
