Newly certified medical transcriptionist. I need a company that will allow me to work from home. Everywhere I look they want 2-5 year experience. If anyone has a web address please help.

I have experience in transcription and also medical terminology and can't find a job to save my soul. Every job I apply for requires experience. The only response I get is the rejection letter stating that they found someone with more qualifications than I have.

Yes, me too. So how do we get experience?

We should open a business of our own.....and call it "We have no experience other than our own"

I don't know, but I've thought about looking into that field. Where does one get training, or find out about accredited programs? And how long is the program? Actually here's a link someone here mentioned... seems to be a Web site where they match up transcriptionists with clients... https://www.nettranscripts.com/nt_home.htm
