Lack of exercise can cause insomnia

Yesterday I was tired and I didn't exercise at all. I had problems with sleep. I couldn't fall asleep even if I stayed in bed for hours. Finally I started to work because this made me tired. I have to do difficult things daily and exercise if I want to sleep. Today I exercised and I am sleepy. I haven't noticed that exercise or any effort is very important until now.

I too when I exercise maybe walk,I get tired and sleeping becomes easier

Yes. I learned this in a hard way. Any type of exercise is good. Or mental effort can help us sleep better.

Insomnia is a medical issue of the body from which I suffered more than a year. I took Ayurvedic medicine, food that induces sleep and did some yoga and still do some yoga before sleep and am sleeping well now.

I don’t usually sleep well but I get 8,000 steps almost every day. I got a few steps over 9,000 today. I’ve tried everything including melatonin but it doesn’t help.

Have you tried medication? I am taking medication. But I need work or exercises to make me feel tired.

Anything that tires you out physically in the day will usually help you sleep at night. It is great that you are one of the people that exercise helps sleep.

I know how it feels to stay three days without enough hours of sleep. In the hospital I wasn't able to sleep.

Now you'll have to make it a routine so you can have your body rest. Am glad you managed to get your sleep after the hard hustle. Sometimes it's hard for me to fall asleep too I go to watch a movie or listen to music

@dya80dya yes movies help me alot . When am sootthing myself to sleep I usually listen to slow music, worship songs gospel tends to work well
