Oh here comes another day of rain and shine. It's great so have some balance as plants will benefit it the most, or maybe not. For mosquitoes, it would be the best day ever and for us humans the worst. Thing is, I live with someone who has allergic rhinitis and I have to avoid mosquito repellents or mosquito killer sprays that emit a strong scent. I've tried these citronella candles, a diffuser infused with "mosquito" repelling essential oils, an odorless spray and that cheap electronic thingy that works like a vacuum-like insect trap. All but failed and it just keep getting worse because of the intermittent weather condition. Internet says garlic is a good option but most options require a little process to make it work. What I need is something that actually works by itself. A spray solution will be okay. But I don't like it being added with some oil. I don't like skin repellants either because I'm always sweaty like an amphibian and I don't like getting more of that sticky feeling. The person I live with isn't much of a fan of that too. Lucky for me though that mosquitoes don't love me that much. But they still annoy me as they fly around my ears, and it annoys me more because one of our cats is also annoyed by them. He now rarely stays out in the open and he can't stay still in one place anymore. Any ideas would be appreciated. Just please note that what I need is something I can make use of out of the basics here on my side of the world. Thank you.

@dfollin did a discussion recently about getting bitten by mosquitoes, and she found some cheap bracelets that work amazingly for her.

I've seen these bracelets in some of our local shops. I might get one when I see one next time, or maybe check those ones sold online.

@piyoz000 Some are better than others. The generic generally don't work, but it doesn't it hurt to try them.
