Close call story of a lottery winner in Michigan

A man who lives in Jackson Michigan admitted that he was entering a BP gasoline station in Osseo Michigan on Wednesday when he decided to play the Emerald Green Wild Time Scratch Off ticket.
The male lottery winner who for obvious reasons does not want to identified to the public was happy to learn that he won $300,000 before taxes.
The lottery winner after he pays his taxes at the Michigan Lottery Office plans to buy a home.
It is unusual for any lottery winner to buy a winning ticket just before the store closes for the day.

I will never understand why Americans have to pay taxes on lottery winnings. Here in Canada lottery winnings are tax free. You win 30 million, you get 30 million.

Neither do I since according to political experts the politicians in America want to play Big brother to all of us getting taxed so they provide services in returns.
