Weeks 19-22 at Goodwill (June Monthly Report)

Better late than never, since I've been busy with work and volunteering, (and also planning to adopt a cat) last month, I didn't get a chance to do any updates for June. So I'm going to post it into this one post and hope to be all caught up with posts and commenting throughout this week. My main goal for June was to hit 3 (or at least, come close to it). I've managed to do it a few times last month. My new goal is to be a bit faster and reach 4 (or come close to it) by Labor Day Weekend. This past Saturday, my assistant manager said that everyone in the textile processor team is going to have some one-one-one employee coaching to help with the daily quota and to get faster. I remember my manager mentioned this back to me back in April, before my assistant manager went on vacation, and when she returned a week later. I never had her help me learn to "quick sort", so maybe I'll get a chance sometime this month to quicken things. I'm still working hard to get to that point to be cross-trained and reach 4 by September, when maybe Danielle will come to visit me again. (And I still haven't gotten my case close letter from OOD either.) So here's the weekly update from the highest to the lowest scores in this breakdown from June: Week 19: I barely hit 3 bins on Monday, June 5th, 2.65 on Friday June 9th (close enough), 2.25 on Thursday June 1st, and 1.65 or 2. (I did one Gaylord by myself, and 1 bin at .65. So it could be counted at 2 or close to 2, if you count in the full Gaylord of raw donations.) Week 20: I hit close to 3 at 2.85 bins on Tuesday, June 13th, close to 3 at 2.75 bins on Thursday June 15th, close to 2 bins at 1.85 bins on Monday 12th, and 1.25 or 2.25 (I did one Gaylord again after I cleared out a little over one bins. So it could be counted at 1.25 or 2.25, if you count that full Gaylord.) Week 21: Once again, I hit close to 3 bins at 2.75 bins on Monday June 19th, 2.25 bins on Thursday, June 22nd, cleared 2 bins on Tuesday, June 20th, and close to 2 bins at 1.75 on Saturday, June 24th. Week 22 (last week): With little time to spare before my shift ended, I hit a new record of 3.05 bins last Monday on June 26th, and did it for Danielle. The highlight for June for sure. Yesterday (Saturday July 1st), I came close to 3 at 2.95 bins, and close to 3 at 2.75 on Thursday June 29th. I came close to 2 bins at 1.85 last Tuesday (June 27th). This Tuesday, I have the 4th of July off, and my usual Wednesday off. I plan to hit it hard to get to 3-3.15 bins this week and try to get a little bit closer and faster as I go along. If I'm coached this week, I'll let you know in next week's weekly report for sure. Have a good evening and see you tomorrow afternoon! Enjoy this monthly wrap-up.
