At the start of any period we begin hopeful. I wonder if my life would be better if I am a better cook, good at cooking. It is very fulfilling for me. But as of now my time is tied to my day job. And I can easily buy food outside that is delicious and an affordable price. My partner loves to cook, I love his cooking very much but then he gets busy with other stuff.
My daughter is busy with schoolwork and she has rhematic heart fever so she is exhausted most time so I dont expect much housework from her. We are reliant on househelp.
Let's see how this otehr half will pan out. I headed out to buy Ensure Gold the smaller one in almond flavor and the bigger one in Vanilla flavor. I also bought Bear brand Adult plus as alternate. I do hope my bone mass wont be compromised if I drink this milk.

I didn't know there is almond flavor Ensure. My parents do drink Ensure

Yes it is good for the elderly because it is fortified with nutritients. How many scoops in 1 cup water? I tried 3 and it was a bit bland.

If you are concerned about compromising your bone mass you can always call your doctor, and tell their nurse what you plan to do. I doubt he’d find it objectionable, but if knowing for sure would reassure you then it couldn’t hurt to give them a call.

I self medicated. By next year maybe I can get a proper consultation. We live in an island province and the best doctors are in the capital.
The prescription of my derma didnt heal my eczema at all.

@yoalldudes That explains a lot. Because I know a good dermatologist could actually help you. As for the Ensure Gold, I don’t know if this helps to know, but one of my doctors actually recommended Ensure to me. If he thought it was okay, I can’t see why it would be harmful for you unless you noticed any negative side effects after you try it. I just looked Ensure Gold up on a search engine, and it says it helps bone mass so I imagine if it compromised it, they would say that as well. I just wish you had access to better healthcare. You are tough, that’s for sure.

My idea is getting a blood chem to identify which vitamins or minerals is lacking. For me, nature's produce like fruits and vegetables is still the best. Supplementation is necessary at times as well. I hope you become healthy and robust after taking those vitamins.

I take calcium and D3 supplements to prevent osteoporosis. Your Ensure should help. Have a good day.

I am glad you are taking good care of your health as well. I heard of someone in our place where he survived only through feeding tube with Ensure. A bit scary that story but it just shows that it is life sustaining.
