She finally got back to me

Early this morning I emailed my boss explaining that I couldn't get to work because 1) I did not have a working phone, and 2) I needed the phone to get some kind of ride to work, as the bus does not go as far as the CG training center. It took most of the day, but she finally got back to me (screencap of email above), saying to keep her posted. I certainly will, though my phone charger (which I was told will be here by tomorrow) will likely not come in time for me to get there when my shift starts. I'm guessing that the phone charger will not come until the afternoon. This week is almost over, at least. One more week to go, and I will be out of that place (actually, not really a week, four days--since my last day is the thirteenth of July...)

Sorry you’re without a phone. I want to have my land line taken out but what if something happened to my cell phone? That’s a worry.

Yes, I wanted to take our old-school dial phone with me when I moved, but my brother pointed out that I'd be paying another bill if I did and had it hooked up.

I'm glad she did not sound angry.

Me, too. So so glad I'm leaving this job soon, though. She'll probably want me to come in Friday, and I have a doctor's appointment in the morning.
