40s is proving to be tougher than I expected. Starting with my teeth, my eyes, skin eczema and anxiety. Wooo. And the real aging health issues arent here yet, I know that. I was looking forward to my late 40s because I thought it will be a waltz towards my 50s. Life is full of surprises. There are good surprises too, I know that. Keeping the faiith and prayers. I was able to take a nap from 7pm-9pm so I expect myself to be up until maybe midnight. I will just be having my dinner. That is how my weekends is progressing.

Growing old is no fun. Do everything now while you're still young. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

When I was in my forties, I haven't noticed or felt anything weak in my body. I eat what I want, and don't mind about health simply because I have simple and normal illnesses then. When I stepped in my fifties, 52 to be exact, I felt major changes starting with blurry vision, a lot of dizziness, insomnia, and constipation. I was confined in the hospital for the first time in my 52 years. Both eyes which were blurry were diagnosed with glaucoma, and my blood tests showed high blood sugar, high cholesterol, and very high hypertension. I couldn't believe it nor I cannot accept what's happening in my body. From then, I started my maintainance meds which I was so hesitant to take but I have to. Now, I am careful with my body.

@yoalldudes I felt so bad at first, but in the end I realized I have to take care of my health now.

I am in my mid 50s . . . life has just gone on that any transitions just snuck or crept in . I find it good to stay productive and maintain what we can. Surprises - oh yes - let's hope for the good ones!!

I agree with staying productive and also keeping mentally sharp. Amen to all the good surprises. Sometimes I feel what we get are trade offs sometimes.

@yoalldudes Staying healthy, physically active and strong (as much as possible) is important too. Trade offs - that is true - ah such is life.
