Finally. The day was crazy, as usual, running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Thankfully, my worst-behaved child wasn't quite as badly behaved as he could be, but it was still crazy. I finally got my phone charger from under a desk at the child care center where it was plugged in, and brought it home with me. Grabbed my water bottle, too. I charged my phone for most of the day, but for whatever reason, my Lyft app would not work. A man working there called me a cab when I talked to him, but I had to wait about an hour for it to come. I already texted my boss and another lady that works there that I can't come in if my Lyft app doesn't work when I get up and check it tomorrow. The lady I've been riding home with texted me and said she's under the weather, and I don't want to be stranded for an hour again. Of course, when I finally got home, there was a package for me outside my door, and it was my phone charger, which was supposed to come last Thursday... Oh, well. This job will be over soon. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
