One of those things that most of us, as parents, think we will never have to do is bury one of our own children. Have you ever lost a child to death, whether older or just an infant? What got your through your loss?

I've seen people of all ages bury their children and every time, no matter what age, I wonder how they do it. It amazes me the strength we are often given.

I've had 6 miscarriages and docs have no answers as to why. It's really hard to get through. Mostly I rely on my belief system to get me through. But I have days when I just want to scream at God for it. And pregnant women (except the ones I know) I tend to resent them.

how hard for you! Perhaps there is a child out there that needs you so badly that he wants to make sure you find him/her. I wish I had answers, sometimes we never find out why, but have faith that there is a reason... somehow. Thanks for sharing.

I lost a baby going into my fifth month of pregnancy. I was only 18 an still in high school. It was not an easy time for me. Every year in November I mourn his loss. He would have been 30 years old this year. After six weeks I returned to school. I graduated in June of 1976. Life goes on.

I Lost My first child in February. I was 7 1/2 months pregnant. I am on kidney dialysis and was told i would never get pregnant but low and behold it happened. i was getting an ultrasound after every dialysis treatment and he was fine but all of a sudden one time after my treatment there was no heartbeat. They said he was too small (I had an autopsy done) and the treatments were just too much stress for him. i still feel very lucky to have experienced pregnancy at ALL!! R.I.P Zachary Russell 2-20-06
