1) "The Miracle Club"--local movie theatre--1 hour & 31 minutes--set in 1967 it is the story of 3 women in Dublin who make a trip to Lourdes--each with a secret--I don't know why but all I could think of was the movie "Peyton Place" in 1957 which has absolutely nothing to do with this movie--The magnificent cast of Kathy Bates, Maggie Smith and Laura Linney makes this a MUST SEE!
2) "Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys"--Netflix--movie--1 hour & 41 minutes--wealthy Charlotte and working-class Alice find their families being ripped apart by greed and scandal-- excellent cast, good storylines--Tyler Perry hits all the bases--a home run!
3) "Georgetown"--Prime Amazon--movie--1 hour &39 minutes--based on a true story--Christopher Waltz, Vanessa Redgrave and Annette Bening star in a thriller about a smooth-talking social climber in Washington D.C.--I don't recall ever hearing about any of these people involved--Excellent cast, thrilling story, fascinating.
4) "Outer Range"--Prime Amazon--series--season 1--8 episodes--6 hours & 46 minutes--a rancher fighting for his ranch and family discovers an unfathomable mystery--sci-fi & cowboys? Thousands of Bison are coming out of a hole in the ground? Not my cup of tea and I like Josh Brolin but a Western sci-fi?!?!?!
5) "The Outlaws"--Netflix--movie--1 hour & 37 minutes--not another Western--a guy who works in a bank thinks his future inlaws rob the bank--crazy, silly, funny, stupid--See it when you have nothing else to watch or read a book.
6) "Survival of the Thickest"--Netflix--series--8 episodes--3 hours & 32 minutes--thick (what used to be called fat) girls are having their moment and stylist Mavis wants to help them--I think it would be more interesting getting into why hunky guys (as the 2 in the series) pursue thick girls--Short, funny episodes on a new subject.
7) "The Tutor"--Netflix--movie--1 hour & 33 minutes--a dream job tutoring a billionaire's son becomes a terrifying nightmare for Ethan and his girlfriend when his student stalks them--I hate a mystery when I can't figure it out mainly because of the ending--Watch this and explain the ending to me!
8) "Forward, Side. Close."--Prime Amazon--movie--1 hour & 42 minutes--a reclusive doctor receives a visit from his childhood friend who teaches him how to live and love again--no, not 'that' way--2 old people falling in love, rekindling a long-ago love is different than 2 young people discovering love--friendship also changes for the better-- A quiet, touching and moving film.

Thank you for the review. Definitely the first movie with that awesome cast. I still have the video of when Kathy Bates very effectively played the crazy lady in Misery
